Reach Museum to celebrate local Native Americans
RICHLAND, Wash. — The Reach Museum is recognizing American Indians this week in honor of National Native American Heritage Month.
The Confederated Tribes of the Umatilla Indian Reservation will be honored at the museum in Richland from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. tomorrow.
Ceremony tribe members will perform a variety of dances in their native attire to traditional drum songs. The tribe will also hold a blessing and regional history lecture for those who attend.
Kids under five get in free. Adult tickets are available at the door.
