Revenge of the tumbleweeds comes to Walla Walla County
WALLA WALLA COUNTY, Wash.—The tumbleweeds decided to yet again make a road block yesterday, most likely in retaliation for the burning of other tumbleweeds on SR 240.
Touchet North and Luckenbill roads, about 16 miles north of Touchet, was blocked Saturday evening by a wall of tumbleweeds, according to the Walla Walla County Sheriff’s Office.
The road was cleared by crews last night.
This road wasn’t the only victim of the tumbleweeds as other spots had been reduced down to one lane, according to the deputies.
