Richland police seek information on man linked to theft of an e-bike

RICHLAND, Wash. — Have you seen this man riding an e-bike in the Tri-Cities area? He may be riding a stolen vehicle, according to local law enforcement.

Richland PD’s Officer Hubby is leading an investigation into a stolen e-bike that led him to look into this unidentified man. There is a chance that he stole the vehicle that he was seen riding in the Tri-Cities.

A social media alert from the Richland Police Department shared photographs of a Caucasian male suspect wearing a black hat, dark rain jacket, camouflage shorts, neon green socks with a dark stripe running through them and white athletic shoes with red details.

He was seen riding around with his pet—a tan dog with pointed ears and a long tail. RPD officials joked that this is the only witness at this stage of the investigation.

Now, the Richland Police Department is turning to the community it serves for help identifying the man and bringing him in for questioning. If you have information to contribute, you are urged to contact the RPD by calling (509) 628-0333 and referencing Case No. 22-022667.
