Richland residents believe someone slashed their Christmas inflatables
RICHLAND, Wash. — The Grinch has struck in one Richland neighborhood.
A woman near Thayer Drive and Torbett Street woke up on Monday to her T-Rex inflatable on the ground. She tried to sew it back up, but noticed another hole. It couldn’t be saved. She believes someone slashed it intentionally.
She told KAPP-KVEW that her neighbor had their nutcracker inflatable vandalized as well. She said she heard on Richland’s Community and Policing groups that someone was seen Sunday night shooting off a BB gun, but police have not confirmed that.
The Richland Police Department has received reports of vandalism. The inflatables are close to another home that was vandalized back in October.
