Richland woman hospitalized after DUI hit-and-run collision
RICHLAND, Wash. — Washington State Patrol reports drugs or alcohol were a factor in a collision on E-182 Tuesday night at 6:39 in Richland.
WSP reports 48-year-old Ricardo Cervantes from Mabton was driving on I-182 near milepost 3 when he rear ended Las Vegas resident 32-year-old Amilcar Hernandez-Ocampo and passenger 32-year-old Richland resident Candice Barrios.
Cervantes then allegedly fled the scene and continued driving east on I-182. Cervantes and his vehicle were later located in Pasco.
Washington State Patrol reports Cervantes was charged with a Driving Under the Influence and Hit and Run.
