Rio’s Weekend Preview: Sausage Fest, Champion of Champions and Ride the Reactor
KENNEWICK, Wash. — Here’s a look at a few events happening around our region this weekend.
Christ the King Sausage Fest
Bring the whole family out to enjoy the largest showcase of local talent, over 30 different food vendors and games for all ages. There will also be a Granny’s Attic yard sale, farmer’s market and Bingo.

Champion of Champions Indian Relay Races
Watch leading horse riders from seven different nations across South Dakota, Montana, Wyoming, Washington and Canada, work together to get across the finish line first.
WHEN: Friday, Sept. 20 at 6:30 p.m.
Saturday, Sept. 21 at 2 p.m.
Sunday, Sept. 22 at 2 p.m.

4th Annual Ride the Reactor
Whip out your mountain bikes for a 15-mile ride around the formerly top-secret, B Reactor.
WHEN: Saturday, Sept. 21 at 8:30 a.m.
WHERE: B Reactor, 2000 Logston Blvd., Richland
Registration is $40 which includes the ride, a catered lunch and a tour of the B Reactor.
