Rollover crash on SR 240 sends 2 to hospital
RICHLAND, Wash. — Two people are injured, including a toddler, after a rollover collision on Thursday evening.
Richland resident Kamren Murray, 21, was driving west on Highway 240 near Columbia Center Boulevard. He changed lanes and struck a 2002 Mazda Tribute, causing it to roll.
Yakima resident Khale Hendricks, 28, was driving with a 3-year-old boy in the car. Both Murray and the toddler were injured and transported to Kadlec Medical Center, according to a news release from Washington State Patrol.
A conflicting report says not Murray, but Hendricks and her 3-year-old son were injured and sent to the hospital.
Troopers responded just before 5 p.m.
Murray was charged with negligent driving because of the unsafe lane change that caused the injury.
Everyone was wearing a seatbelt. No drugs or alcohol were involved.
