Safer Internet Day: Learn how to protect your kids from online predators


KENNEWICK, Wash. — In today’s world, you never know who your child might be communicating with online.

Richland Police Crime Prevention Specialist, Cerise Peck, is educating parents on how to become the first-line of defense in the battle against online predators.

107S20 Screenshot Series – Going Viral is a presentation that covers topics of cyberbullying and communication from predators, popular apps and what they’re used for, and how to be aware of what your children are doing online.

The event is happening on Wednesday, Feb. 12 from 6:30 to 8 p.m. at Kamiakin High School. It’s free to attend and you can register by clicking, here.
