Seattle Sehawks nominate Bobby Wagner for 2019 Walter Payton NFL Man of the Year Award

The Seattle Seahawks announced Bobby Wagner as their nomination for the 2019 Walter Payton Man of the Year Award on Thursday.

According to Seahawks.com, the linebacker has led ‘numerous events to support important causes, including “Walk with Wagner” for stroke awareness in the Seattle community, as well as “Bwagz Sees You,” where he delivered supplies to nine homeless encampment sites throughout the city and purchases nine homes for these sites.’

He also hosts holiday shopping events around the holidays and helps support those in need with groceries and Christmas presents.

Wagner is also credited for working with nonprofit Generosity Feeds and MOD Pizza to give 10,000 meals to children in Ontario, California.

Fans can help Wagner earn the Man of the Year title by sharing the hashtag #WPMOYChallenge followed by @Bwagz or Wagner between now and January 12.
