Second arrest made in connection with kidnapping, machete attack
KENNEWICK, Wash. — The Benton County Gang Team made another arrest on Sunday in connection with a kidnapping and subsequent machete attack last February.

Hancock parked in front of the home accompanied by another person. A second vehicle pulled up next to them and two men approached the victim.

Ramon Campos Aguilar, 37, was identified as the man who strikes the victim’s leg with a large machete-like knife. He was taken into custody prior to Matheny’s arrest, deputies said.
Authorities discovered home surveillance footage of the attack as they were serving a search warrant at 403 W. Columbia St. in Pasco.
