SOZO Sports hosts Lacrosse Camp for kids
YAKIMA, Wash. — Icy road conditions didn’t stop the fun at SOZO Sports Complex in Yakima Friday morning.
The Yakima Valley lacrosse team hosted its winter break lacrosse camp for kids in 1st through 6th grade.
With the purpose of introducing as many Yakima valley kids to lacrosse and teach them skills that will help promote discipline not only on the field but at school.
Organizers hopeful it will also get the kids more involved in the community.
“In the Yakima Valley we don’t have exposure to some of the bigger teams in Lacrosse and we’re trying to build our program and get the exposure out to the community, and let everybody know that we do have a lacrosse program and it is growing,” said lacrosse coach Kenneth Hite.
A second lacrosse camp will be held on January 3rd, for those interested you can visit the following website for more information. Click Here.
