Your Voice, Your Vote: 2015 General Election Results

All school bond proposals in our area have passed, but the same cannot be said for the levies.

In Kennewick, voters deciding on a $89.5 million bond to build two middle schools, three elementary schools and make district wide improvements and it passes with nearly 60% of the vote.

In Ellensburg, the latest $31 million dollar plan to replace portions of Morgan Middle School and it passes by about a 3 to 1 margin.

In Granger, voters approving an $11.7 million bond to construct new classroom additions which would replace portables at several schools, build a new lunchroom at Roosevelt Elementary School and build an additional gym at Granger High with 65% of the vote.

However, a levy for the Ki-Be School District to replace portable classrooms over the next six years and a levy to improve the high school sports stadium at the Grandview School District fails.

Finally, voters in Walla Walla approving a $5.8 million bond to rebuild Memorial Pool by more than 60% of the vote.
