‘Sprint for tacos’ this weekend in Pasco and support a good cause
PASCO, Wash. — If you missed out on Pasco’s annual Taco Crawl in the Spring, you don’t have to wait until next year to get your taco fix.
Organizers of the annual Taco Crawl are holding the Taco Sprint on Saturday, Oct. 5 – the same idea but on a smaller scale.
Participants can purchase a punch card online and pick it up at the Pasco Specialty Kitchen the day of the event. From noon to 7 p.m., they can explore four different restaurants and food trucks in Downtown Pasco, all within walking distance of each other. Proceeds from the event will benefit the Boys & Girls Clubs of Benton and Franklin Counties.
After the event ends, participants are encouraged to stop at Out and About for drinks. $1 for every drink sold will also benefit the Boys & Girls Clubs.
“It’s basically eating tacos and having a beverage for the kids,” said Emily Maloney, who helps organize the Pasco Taco Crawl.
Punch cards cost $5 each and will get you four tacos. You can purchase one here.
