A 27-year-old man has been arrested after police say he crashed a stolen truck into a Kennewick on Friday night.

Kennewick police say when they first identified the truck as stolen, the driver took off and drove recklessly over the Cable Bridge toward Pasco.

When Pasco police officers attempted to stop the truck on their side, the driver reportedly fled back into Kennewick.

The truck failed to make the turn onto East Columbia Drive, hit a curb, lost a tire and ended up colliding into a building on North Elm Street, according to police.

The driver, Bryan Paul Aho, was booked into the Franklin County jail on suspicion of possession of a stolen vehicle, felony eluding and driving on a suspended license.

Police say no one was injured during the incident.
