Study ranks Connell most affordable home in Washington; Finley ranked third
A new study from financial planning company SmartAsset ranked the top 10 most affordable places to live in Washington.
The study weighed factors like taxes, homeowners’ insurance and home costs relative to the local median income. Places where home ownership costs were lowest relative to the median income in each location were considered the most affordable.
Five cities within the greater Tri-Cities and Yakima areas made the list, with Connell ranking number one.
The top ten ranks as follows:
- West Richland
- Town and Country
- Union Gap
- Otis Orchards-East Farms
- West Side Highway
