Alleged suspect in Spokane homicide taken into custody in Kennewick

KENNEWICK, Wash — A seventeen-year-old male suspected of being involved with a homicide in Spokane was taken into custody in Kennewick on Friday afternoon, according to a news release.

Detectives with the Criminal Apprehension Team and Task Force Officers with the U.S. Marshalls received information that the male suspect was currently at a residence in the 1000 block of N. Cleveland St., the release said.

When officers arrived around 3:30 p.m., they found the suspect and were able to take him into custody.

A search warrant for the residence from a Spokane detective also found additional evidence items.

The Spokane Police Department said this is an ongoing investigation and if anyone has information, call the non-emergency number at 509-628-0333 and refer to case #21-19744.
