Suspect is in jail after allegedly threatening to harm his family in Yakima
YAKIMA, Wash. — Yakima Police arrested a 29-year-old man after officers say he made threats to harm family members on Saturday.
Officers were called to a house at the 800 block of North 40th Avenue at 2:00 p.m. According police reports, a family member called 911 saying the man had a gun and was threatening family members.
When YPD officers got to the scene, they were able to get everyone out of the house safely.
Officers negotiated with the suspect for about two hours. He eventually came out of the house and was arrested.
Officials are still investigating the incident.
