Suspect jumps out of hotel window, runs off from Kennewick police
KENNEWICK, Wash. — Kennewick officers arrested a man on the run from police after being found at a Kennewick hotel.
Around 7:30 a.m., police responded to a hotel near 27th Avenue and Highway 395 after learning Michael Reep, 24, was inside. He was wanted on several warrants including a felony from the Department of Corrections.
When officers knocked on the hotel door, Reep jumped out of a second story window and ran off. Police caught up to him and arrested Reep.
During the chase, Reep is suspected of getting rid of a gun. He was arrested for his multiple warrants along with new charges including felony possession of a firearm and possession of a stolen firearm.
