Syrian refugee voices support
TRI-CITIES, Wash. — Syrians are speaking out about the military response from the U.S. following the use of chemical weapons earlier this week by Syrian leader, Bashar Al-Assad.
We spoke to one local 15-year-old from Syria who asked us to blur his face in this photo out of fear for those in Syria who may be put in danger because of his comments.
15-year-old Mohammed voiced his support for president Donald Trump’s strategic attack.
“Donald Trump help the people of Syria by sending that message because it’s helping them by stopping the chemical weapons,” Mohammed said.
Mohammed has been in the U.S. for approximately five months,
Mohammed and his family came to the U.S. because of the poor living conditions in their home country with little to no job opportunities.
So far he is really enjoying his time here in the U.S. and is making several friends in the community.
