PORTLAND, Ore. (AP) - A teenage student who was tackled after reportedly bringing a shotgun into an Oregon high school classroom has pleaded not guilty to multiple charges. The Oregonian/OregonLive reports 19-year-old Angel Granados-Diaz entered not guilty pleas Wednesday to possessing a firearm in a public building, discharging a firearm at a school, possessing a loaded firearm in public and reckless endangerment.

PORTLAND, Ore. (AP) - A former college football standout at the University of Oregon was credited Friday with tackling an armed student at a Portland, Oregon, high school before anyone was injured. Keanon Lowe, a football and track coach and a security guard at Parkrose High School, told reporters as he was leaving a police interview late Friday that he was tired but relieved at the outcome, The Oregonian/OregonLive reported.
