Tanker trailer overturns, spilling potato oil in Pasco

PASCO, Wash. – A tanker truck’s trailer overturned in Pasco on Monday morning spilling a liquid that has been identified as potato waste.

Around 7 a.m., according to the Pasco Police Department, the truck was driving southbound on North Capitol Avenue.

When trying to turn on to East Kartchner Street, the driver took the turn too fast causing the trailer to overturn.

Potato oil spilled out of the vehicle, but it is not a biohazard.

The driver was uninjured.
