Teenage boy shot in Kennewick, suspect at large
KENNEWICK, Wash — Kennewick officers are investigating after teenage boy was shot while walking near 6th and Hawthorne Thursday.
Around 6 p.m. police responded to the area and were not able to find the victim.
They eventually found him at a hospital 25 minutes later.
The teen was treated for a non-life threatening injury and was released from the hospital.
This is currently an active investigation, and authorities are attempting to identify, the location of the incident, the suspect(s) and any witnesses or involved parties who may have information.
Authorities believe this to be a targeted, isolated incident with no immediate risk to the public.
