Thief arrested while wearing construction company clothes, according to Kennewick Police

KENNEWICK, Wash. — The Kennewick Police Department arrested David Kofoed, 35, Thursday morning after being caught with tools taken from a construction site at Kennewick High School.

Police arrested Kofoed Thursday morning after receiving reports of a suspicious man leaving the Kennewick High School construction area.

When officers confronted Kofoed, he was wearing construction clothes.

Police say Kofoed was caught with tools taken from the construction site. In a picture posted by KPD, it shows several tools including a saw and a few blades.

Kofeod was booked into the Benton County Jail for second degree burglary.
