Thousands attend the annual YVFWC Trunk or Treat Health Fair
YAKIMA, Wash. — The Yakima Valley Farm Workers Clinic hosted its annual Trunk or Treat Health Fair on Saturday morning.
Free health screenings were offered, flu shots were available for $20 and sports physicals for $10.
The grocery store Fiesta Foods provided free lunch to everyone who was at the health far.
There were different family friendly activities such as games, face and pumpkin painting.
YVFWC Community Relations Coordinator Jessica Johnson said families enjoy going to their Halloween theme health fair.
“Last year we had over a thousand people show up and that’s what we’re expecting for today,” said Johnson. “We always encourage families to come dressed in their costumes.”
The health fair was held from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. at the Yakima Medical-Dental Clinic located at 602 East Nob Hill Blvd in Yakima.
