Three-day total: 93 new COVID cases in Tri-Cities region; zero deaths
TRI-CITIES, Wash. — The Benton-Franklin Health District reported 93 new cases of COVID-19 in the Tri-Cities area from Saturday, Sept. 12 to Monday, Sept. 14. That’s an average of 31 cases per day.
Benton County had 44 new cases for a total of 4,338. Its death toll stayed at 113.
Franklin County had 49 new cases for a total of 4,131. Its death toll stayed at 47.
As of Monday afternoon, 22 residents from the Tri-Cities area are hospitalized with COVID-19.
Benton and Franklin counties are in a modified Phase 1 of the state’s reopening plan.
