Three water rescues within two hours in Yakima due to flood waters
YAKIMA, Wash. — Three successful swift water rescues occurred Friday, Feb. 7 in Yakima according to the local fire department.
Authorities say crews responded to the calls coming from Robertson Landing, near Sarg Hubbard Park, and near McGuire Community Park. A total of four people were rescued from these locations.
Authorities advise people to stay safe and know your surroundings. A flood warning continues through 3:28 a.m. Sunday, Feb. 9 for the Yakima River near Parker, Wash.
