Tri-Cities Cancer Center to offer more “Cancer Crushing Cuisine” classes this year
Kennewick, WA – The Tri-Cities Cancer Center will continue its partnership with Red Mountain Kitchen in Downtown Kennewick in 2020, offering cancer-fighting cooking classes to the public.
The cooking classes will be fun and educational, highlighting the cancer-fighting properties of common produce found at local farmer’s markets and grocery stores. The classes will be led by Chef Kyle Thornhill of Professional Food Services, a Lourdes Health dietician and Tri-Cities Cancer Center naturopathic physician, Dr. Lindsey Josephson.
Each cooking class will be unique, focusing on produce that is available during the specific time of the season. Participants will prepare a delicious, healthy dish to enjoy or take home.
Classes will be held on Thursday, February 13, Thursday, April 16, Wednesday, June 10 and Wednesday, October 14. Each class will be from 5:30 p.m. to 7:30 p.m. at Red Mountain.
