Tri-Cities’ first baby of 2019 is a girl
TRI-CITIES, Wash. — The Tri-Cities welcomed its first babies of 2019 on Tuesday.
Shortly after 2 a.m., two babies were born within seven minutes of each other at Kadlec Regional Medical Center in Richland.
A girl named Kathryn was born at 2:16 a.m. to Heisy Tejada of Pasco. She weighed 6 pounds, 10.5 ounces.
Then at 2:23 a.m., a baby named Benjamin was born to Maisey and James Stein. He weighed 6 pounds, 6 ounces.
The first baby’s family will receive a $50 gift card and a stuffed bear from the Kadlec Auxiliary Gift Shop.
