Tri-Cities’ only strip club is permanently closed

Kennewick strip club license expected to be approved next week

KENNEWICK, Wash. — The Tri-Cities’ only strip club has permanently closed less than three years after reopening.

City Stars Gentlemen’s Club opened at 101 S. Gum St. near the Cable Bridge in December 2017.

On Saturday, the business announced that it would not be reopening once permitted during the coronavirus pandemic.

“It’s with a heavy heart we announce we will not be reopening. We were hit hard by covid-19,” City Stars said in a Facebook post. “We appreciate everyone who helped support City Stars.”

The business was located inside the former Lucky Bridge Casino building. It was the first strip club to open in the Tri-Cities in several years.

It’s with a heavy heart we announce we will not be reopening. We were hit hard by covid-19. We appreciate everyone who helped support City Stars.
