Tri-City SWAT team called in during narcotics, elder neglect investigation

Kennewick police went to a home in search of illegal narcotics and on suspicion of elder neglect on Tuesday night.

Around 8 p.m., detectives went to 1711 West 25th Avenue.

That’s where 37-year-old Martin Olivera was arrested for a Department of Corrections warrant.

45-year-old Jeremy Cronenwett and 35-year-old Phonesavanh Phothisene were not being cooperative and were also arrested for obstructing a public servant.

While this was going on, police found a 69-year-old woman in “extremely poor health.” She was taken to the hospital.

One man, 29-year-old Kyle Crary, tried to hide in the attic.

The Tri-City SWAT Team was called in to bring him out, and he was also arrested for obstructing a public servant.

The narcotics investigation is ongoing.
