Trios Health to layoff employees due to debt
KENNEWICK, Wash. — Jobs are on the line as Trios Health decides what to do about the current debt crisis it is facing.
A tough situation, as some employees continue to work knowing they will lose their job.
According to information sent to KAPP-KVEW by Trios Health, it has lost at around $12 million from 2013 to 2015 and another $12 million in 2016 alone.
Some of the reasons for this debt include the need to keep up with competition, investments into physician practices that haven’t seen enough results and too many full time employees.
Trios Health has been working with a consultant to find the best plan possible to sustain the system.
Unfortunately that means layoffs will be announced on Friday.
KAPP-KVEW will be at that press conference starting at 2:30 p.m. to update the public live on Facebook.
