Troopers investiating hit-and-run crash in Union Gap
UNION GAP, Wash. — A commercial vehicle hits an SUV in Union Gap, and takes off.
This is according to Washington State Patrol who responded to the crash on Thursday around 5:30 p.m.
Troopers say the commercial vehicle was traveling west on I-82 near exit 36 when the driver made an unsafe lane change and struck the SUV, which caused it to crash into the cable barrier in the median.
The commercial vehicle kept going while the other driver was taken to Virginia Mason Memorial Hospital for treatment.
It’s not known if drugs or alcohol played a factor.
