Twelve-year-old girl injured, struck by car in West Richland

WEST RICHLAND, Wash. — Authorities say a 12-year-old girl was injured Friday night when she was hit by a vehicle in West Richland.

West Richland police officers responded about 6 p.m. to reports of a vehicle vs pedestrian collision on Paradise Way.

Police say the girl was crossing Eagle Street when she was struck by the vehicle. She was taken to a hospital for treatment.

Police say the driver remained at the scene, did not show any signs of impairment and is cooperating with the investigation.
