Two men taken to hospital after drive-by shooting in Yakima
YAKIMA, Wash. — Yakima police are looking for the suspects involved in a drive-by shooting near downtown Yakima Thursday evening. Police responded to a shots fired call at about 4:30 p.m. in an alley near 9th Avenue and Spruce Street.
According to Capt. Shawn Boyle, police found two men in their early twenties on the scene with gun shot wounds. Boyle said both were transported to local hospitals and are believed to be in stable condition.
The suspect vehicle is described as a white Nissan Altima.
Police believe the shooting was gang related.
