Two suspects arrested following SWAT operation in Richland

RICHLAND, Wash. — Two people have been arrested following an incident involving the Richland SWAT team.  

According to a Facebook post by the Richland Police Department, the Richland Police Street Crime unit located a stolen vehicle in the 1000 block of Sanford Avenue Wednesday afternoon, July 13

Two suspects were seen going to and from a home. One of the suspects was believed to be connected to an active investigation out of the Kennewick Police Department.  

Richland Police and on-duty SWAT members arrived at the home and took both suspects into custody without incident.  

Officers remained at the scene to conduct a search warrant at the residence.
