Update: Investigators still searching for Kennewick woman abducted from her home

As of this afternoon, Sgt. Ken Lattin of Kennewick Police has confirmed the search continues for Sandra Harris who was abducted from her home in Kennewick Friday.

Lattin says, “This was not a random act. The Harris family was targeted.”

He says the family knew the kidnapper identified as Theresa Wiltse who is currently in custody.

When Kennewick police worked to negotiate with the suspect who demanded a ransom of an undisclosed amount for the safe return of Harris, Lattin says, “She did not hold up her end of the bargain.”

The abduction took place at Harris’ home near 41st Street.

Investigators are working with the Washington State Patrol Crime Lab to process the suspect’s vehicle.
