Happy Monday!

A lot of changes ahead this week with increasing wind, cooler temperatures and rain chances late in the week. Ahead of a cold front today, we are waking up to a lot more sunshine. The wind will slowly pick-up heading into the afternoon with gusts at times 25 to 35 MPH. Temperatures will climb above average once again with highs in the low to mid 80’s. A few spots into the upper 80’s.

Clouds will build into the area late in the day and tonight with the passage of the cold front. Look for a windy night ahead with gusts around 35 MPH.

The wind will stick around on Tuesday with gusts up to 25 MPH. And temperatures will be much cooler with highs dropping below average. Look for afternoon highs in the upper 60’s to near 70 degrees.

Locally, we will stay dry with the front. Rain showers will be possible in the moutains and eastern slopes later today, tonight and Tuesday. Wednesday snow levels will drop to near 2,000 feet with snow possible at pass levels! Thursday into the upcoming weekend, rain showers will be possible at the lower elevations. Look for temperatures near 70 Thursday and Friday. Up into the low 70’s Saturday and upper 70’s Sunday.
