VIDEO: Armed felon, sex offender crashes car while fleeing from Pasco police
PASCO, Wash. — Surveillance footage obtained by KAPP-KVEW shows an armed felon in a white Hyundai crashing into a car Friday and reportedly fleeing from Pasco police on foot.
Police say 32-year-old Andrew Dubail first ran a stop sign about 12:40 p.m. near North 18th Avenue and West Pearl Street. When an officer attempted to pull him over, he allegedly sped away.
Sgt. Scott Warren said the officer didn’t chase Dubail because the traffic violation was minor.
Soon after, Dubail ran a stop sign at North 20th Avenue and West Agate Street, which is where he collided with the other car.
Police say different officer who witnessed the crash chased him, but it was the officer who initially attempted to pull him over at the first stop sign that would end up catching him. No bystanders were injured and he was arrested without incident.
Dubail allegedly had a gun, which police say he ditched while jumping over fences. Police say the serial numbers on the gun had been removed and the license plates on his car were stolen.
He was arrested on suspicion of multiple charges and prior warrants, including warrants for unlawful possession of a firearm and residential burglary out of Snohomish County.
Dubail was recently featured on the program ” Washington’s Most Wanted,” which identified him as an unregistered sex offender, a convicted felon and as a known White Supremacist who reportedly has swastikas tattooed on his right rib cage.
His convictions include rape of a child, unlawful possession of a firearm, failure to register as a sex offender and first-degree burglary. Dubail has also previously been arrested on suspicion several thefts, trafficking stolen property, hit-and-run and DUI.
Dubail was booked into the Franklin County Jail and is scheduled to make a preliminary court appearance Monday.
