Volunteers distribute smoke alarms at local mobile home park
KENNEWICK, Wash. — Members of the Benton County Sheriff’s Office, Benton County Fire District 1, Benton County Sheriff Foundation and community volunteers joined together to hand out smoke alarms Saturday at the Metz Mobile Home Park in Kennewick.
They provided homes with smoke alarms and replacement batteries.
So far, they’ve handed out just under 500 smoke alarms.
