WALLA WALLA, Wash. — If you see the sky ignite with fireworks over Walla Walla this Friday, just know that it’ll be out of celebration for a graduating class that overcame an incredible set of circumstances over the last year.
At the conclusion of Walla Walla High School’s commencement ceremony this Friday, the school will host a fireworks show to celebrate the hard work of their 2021 Seniors.
This year’s commencement ceremony is being held at the Walla Walla County Fairgrounds starting at 7:00 p.m. The fireworks show is expected to begin around 9:00 p.m., but that’s subject to change based on how long the commencement ceremony lasts.
Families and students are expected to communicate with school officials regarding tickets to the ceremony. Visitors are asked to use the Tietan St. entrance and parking lot for the event.
