Walla Walla man, 20, arrested in connection with drive-by-shooting

WALLA WALLA, Wash. — The Walla Walla Police Department arrested Nisi Lopez-Salazar, 20, in connection to a drive-by-shooting in Walla Walla Saturday afternoon.

Police responded to the 1800 block of Melrose St. near N Blue St. for the shooting around 3:45 p.m.

The Walla Walla Police Department says no one was injured when officers arrived to the scene. However, officers found evidence that a gun had been fired in the area.

The Walla Walla Street Crimes unit investigated the shooting which led to several search warrants and one arrest, according to police.

Police say Lopez-Salazar was arrested in connection to the shooting.

Lopez-Salazar is in the Walla Walla County Jail facing several charges.
