WATCH: Suspect vehicles speed in Kennewick parking lot before shots are fired

KENNEWICK, Wash. — Detectives are looking for new information about a shooting that took place at a parking lot on the 4600-block of W Clearwater Ave in Kennewick on Friday afternoon. They shared the following video clip in an attempt to gather information about the incident and spread awareness:

Authorities say that the white sedan shown above was being followed by the driver of the white pickup truck outside of a Kennewick business around 1:30 p.m. PST on August 12, 2022. Officials say that the driver of the sedan presented a handgun out the driver’s side window and fired in the direction of the pursuing pickup.

No injuries were reported in connection with this shooting, according to the Kennewick Police Department. However, this incident endangered a busy community area, so police want to identify the people involved and contact them about the altercation.

There are several businesses in this area—most notably, the large WinCo Foods grocery store at 4602 W Clearwater Ave.
