Water Follies to cause bike path, park closures along Columbia River
TRI-CITIES, Wash. — The 52nd annual Water Follies is just two days away. That means some parks and bike paths on both sides of the Columbia River will be partially.
The Columbia Park entrance off Highway 240 will be closed from 4 p.m. to 6 p.m. on Saturday and Sunday to ensure the safety of exiting vehicles. No cars will be allowed to stop on the shoulder of the highway.
Additionally, bike paths will be closed on Wade Park Road from the Blue Bridge to Road 60 in Pasco from 6 a.m. to 6 p.m. Friday through Sunday.
Columbia Park will be closed from the Blue Bridge to Edison Street in Kennewick from 8 a.m. Thursday to 7 p.m. Sunday.
Bike paths and Park east of the Kiwanis Building at Hartford Street in Columbia Park will be closed Thursday through Sunday from 10 p.m. to 6 a.m.
