West Richland homicide victim, suspect identified

The woman killed in a West Richland apartment over the weekend has been identified.

Police say Pasco resident, Alisa J. Brewer, 53, was found dead inside an apartment at Fairway Manor.

The suspect, 24-year-old William Cyrus Lee, is on an investigative hold. Lee could be charged with second-degree murder and second-degree assault.

According to detectives, they were called out to the apartment near 39th Avenue and Fallon Drive around 1:30 Sunday morning. When they arrived, the SWAT team was called to negotiate with Lee to surrender.

Brewer was found dead inside. According to a press release, the apartment was Lee’s. Detectives say her death was caused by “homicidal violence.” The relationship between the two is currently being investigated, according to officials.

Lee is expected to appear in court Monday afternoon.

The autopsy for Brewer is scheduled for Tuesday to determine a cause of death.

West Richland Police say this appears to be an isolated incident and there is no threat to the community.
