What local grocery stores are open on Thanksgiving?
Just in case you forget the cranberry sauce or overcook the bird, here are the grocery stores that will be open in the Columbia Basin on Thanksgiving:
All Safeway and Albertsons stores will be open regular hours on Thanksgiving but their pharmacies will be closed, according to the store locator feature on Safeway.com.
Normally open 24 hours, WinCo Foods in Kennewick and Richland will be open 12 a.m.-3 p.m. on Thanksgiving and 7 a.m.-12 a.m. the day after, according to Winco’s website.
Some local Walmarts are open 24 hours. Others, such as the Hermiston store, open at 5 a.m. It would be best to call ahead.
All Yoke’s Fresh Market locations will be open until 3 p.m.
Columbia Harvest Foods in Umatilla will be open until 3 p.m.
Red Apple Market in Kennewick will be open until 4 p.m.
Super 1 Foods in Walla Walla will be open until 4 p.m.
Rosauers Supermarket in Yakima will be open until 4 p.m.
Wray’s Marketfresh IGA in Selah and Yakima will be open until 4 p.m.
Fiesta Foods locations will be open 6 a.m. – midnight.
Fred Meyer is open 7 a.m. – 4 p.m.; the pharmacy is closed.
Target is open from 5 p.m. until 1 a.m.
Costco Wholesale will be closed.
Smart Foodservice/Cash & Carry will be closed.
Grocery Outlet Bargain Market will be closed.
Andy’s Market in College Place will be closed.
Harvest Foods in Walla Walla will be closed.
Mission Market in Pendleton will be closed.
