…WIND ADVISORY IN EFFECT UNTIL 7 PM PST THIS EVENING…
The National Weather Service in Spokane has issued a Wind
Advisory…which is in effect until 7 PM PST this evening.
* Winds…West 20 to 30 mph with gusts up 55 mph.
* Timing…Winds will increase after noon and peak in the late
afternoon and early evening.
* Impacts…Winds will be capable of breaking tree branches with
power outages expected. Localized stronger wind gusts may also
result in shingle damage to roof tops.
* Locations…Wenatchee, Chelan, Entiat, Cashmere, Plain,
Leavenworth, Stehekin, Waterville, and Mansfield.
A Wind Advisory means that winds of 35 mph are expected. Winds
this strong can make driving difficult…especially for high
profile vehicles. Use extra caution.
