Woman arrested on suspicion of reckless burning after RV fire in Kennewick
KENNEWICK, Wash. — A 35-year-old woman has been arrested on suspicion of reckless burning in connection with an RV fire in Kennewick.
Benton County sheriff’s deputies and firefighters responded Friday morning to reports of an RV on fire near East 15th Avenue and South Date Street.
Arriving firefighters found the wooden front porch of the RV was burning and a woman inside was refusing to come out, according to deputies.
Deputies say Terra Redmond, 35, eventually came out unharmed and was taken to a local hospital for smoke inhalation prior to her arrest.
She was booked into the Benton County jail on suspicion of reckless burning and a previous warrant from the state Department of Corrections.
