Woman found dead by roommate, Kennewick police say
KENNEWICK, Wash. — A death investigation is underway after Kennewick police say a woman’s body was found by her roommate early Saturday morning.
According to Sgt. Dan Todd, they received a call around 2:30 a.m. about an unconscious woman. Police responded to the area of Sixth Place and Conway Street. 25-year-old Tessa West was found not breathing.
Authorities attempted CPR but couldn’t revive West. According to police, they believe she was dead for several days before her roommate found her.
A cause of death is not known at this time. However, police say some circumstances in the incident are “suspicious.”
Authorities said West’s activities during the past few weeks are not clearly known and police are asking for the public’s help.
