WSP: Onion truck with no brakes spills in Paterson
PATERSON, Wash. — A truck hauling onions spilled all over the road Monday morning.
Washington State Patrol Trooper Chris Thorson said the spill happened at the intersection of State Route 221 and State Route 14 around 11 a.m.
The driver did not have a license and the truck had no brakes, Thorson tweeted, adding “Luckily no one was injured.”
The driver, 23-year-old Erik Vera of Irrigon, was cited for loss of load, driving without a license and driving with defective brakes.
