Yakima man allegedly shoots at pedestrian who kicked his Dodge Neon
YAKIMA, Wash. — A Yakima man is in custody for his alleged involvement in a Thursday drive-by shooting.
Court documents say the 21-year-old swerved to get around a man walking in the street, and the pedestrian kicked his Dodge Neon on West Arlington Street around 11:30 p.m., our news partner the Yakima Herald-Republic reports.
The suspect fired a single shot and drove off, court documents said.
Police later identified the suspect’s vehicle and found a semi-automatic handgun along with a bullet on the driver’s seat that reportedly matched the casing found at the crime scene.
The suspect faces charges for drive-by shooting and carrying a loaded weapon in his vehicle.
